Is paying for wedding photos in full (2 weeks ahead) appropriate? has anyone used Steve Keegan Photography?

Yes this is appropriate. I am getting married and paying half up front and the other half two-four weeks prior. This is why you sign a contract. Read and agree to the terms. For instance, if you pay him, and he does not show up, or provide a similar photographer, are you going to get that money back?? If not, move on!
