Post-Katrina?

i was wondering that same thing....when you google about the hurricane everything that pops up has to do with new orleans.....a storm that mive did not do damage to just one place. That is why im so annoyed when i hear about katrina all the time becuase all the news talks about is new orleans when i know other places were hit hard too! I grew up in florida and it seemed like they only talked about major cities that got impacted, they didnt care that there was a town 20 miles south of the capital that had people trapped becuase the roads got washed out or the fact that half the community was stranded in a school as an evacuation shelter becuase the flooding was so bad there.....its almost like if your not a "well known city" the news media doesnt care.
