How successful were nazi scientists in their research of the anti gravity bell?

I saw an interesting doentary today that briefly mentioned a project undertaken by nazi scientists before the end of the war...it was an 'anti gravity bell' of some kind. How would it have/did it work? Did scientists outside of the Reich make use of their findings after the war had ended?
