How can you trust yourself to trust the the words of God?

Dude, all I know is that I don't know anything. When I read the BIble, which is not as often as I would like, I have to ask the Holy Spirit to guide me in understanding what it is God wants me to learn as I read that page(s). God, through the Holy Spirit, provides me with understanding and wisdom of Gods' words.
