Story event ideas?

Emotinaly abused orphan moves in with a family of five adults. The town is messed up and she's now part of it. 16 years of age, gang of Greasers are the leaders of the town. Evil headmaster at her new school. She's a tough cookie. I need ideas for situations to place this main character. Comic situations or dangerous sitations or twists. Any useful Ideas?
