Should i let my cat get anaesthetised?

My vet always does a blood test prior to anesthesia to make sure the cat will be ok. There are also different drugs which can be used. I have one cat who is VERY loopy for days after Isoflurane, so they give him something else (name escapes me). Also, they would most likely tube her and put her on oxygen. I'd ask the vet what he'd do if it were his cat.
