My boyfriend is only 41 and has Atrial Fib.?

He was in the hospital for a couple of days until they chemically convert his heart back to a normal rhythm. He was taking blood thinners and a pill to keep his heart stable. That was in Feb of this year. Now, he is off the thinners, and still taking the pill to keep his heart at the proper rhythm. He is so secretive about how bad it really is. He's the type that doesn't want anyone to worry about him. He finally told me last night that he may need a heart transplant... but he hasn't sighed up on the list yet. i know he's scared.... I'm scared too!!! I guess my question is,is anyone out there with Atrial Fib, and how are you living with it? Where you also told that you may need a transplant? Have you tried a pacemaker, or any other options. Thanks for reading... God Bless
